The checks and balances needed to satisfy Health and Safety Regulations are addressed in the latest DfES guidance in addition to checks within your own school or college system- such as gaining your own head teachers approval for all visits, ensuring parents have full information and provide consent and ensuring that all staff are appropriately qualified - the DfES asks teachers to check details of outside suppliers such as coach operators.

At Eavesway Travel:

• All drivers are issued with a handbook containing pertinent information assisting them to carry out their duties both professionally and in line with Eavesway Travel procedures including a section containing guidance on carrying school children and students
• There is a high quality driver training programme in place
• All Eavesway Travel coaches are fitted with seatbelts and many other safety features
• All coaches are presented in a clean and safe condition
• There is 24/7 back up procedure in place in the event of an emergency occurring out of our normal office hours
• Eavesway Travel drivers wear a company uniform which makes them readily recognisable
• Eavesway Travel has a written Health & Safety Policy
