Here at Eavesway we strive to minimise the impact on the environment of our business and coach operation.

We are proud of the fact that the majority of coaches in our current fleet meet the Euro 6 standard with regard to vehicle emissions; greatly reducing Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) and Particulate Manner (PM) expelled from the exhaust.

With the use of SCR technology and the addition of AdBlue to the exhaust systems produce, our full size coaches have lower emission levels per passenger kilometre than most other vehicles on the road. Their greater carrying capacity in terms of passengers and luggage means that very often two of our coaches can carry the same loadings as 3 or even 4 'standard' coaches, reducing emission levels even further, as well as traffic congestion.

All our coaches are fitted with FLEETVIEW GPS tracking systems which contain modules to report how efficiently, and safely, the vehicle is being driven and also enables us to monitor engine idling times. This, in the past 12 months, has enabled us to reduce fuel consumption by 4%, thereby cutting the levels of noxious gasses and particles by a corresponding amount.
